About the Speaker

Meet Mahavir Mandot — a dynamic legal educator, practicing advocate, researcher and passionate voice in the evolving world of law.

With expertise spanning Intellectual Property Rights, Corporate and Business Law, Alternative Dispute Resolution and Cyber Law, Mahavir Sir brings together academic excellence, courtroom experience and practical legal insights.

Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Intellectual Property Rights, he has also secured the First Rank in his LLM (Business Law). As an experienced educator and practicing advocate, he has taught across leading law institutions and practised before multiple courts and forums, handling diverse civil, criminal, consumer and commercial matters.

A sought-after speaker and academic contributor, Mahavir Sir has conducted webinars, seminars and expert sessions on IPR, Cyber Safety and practical legal skills and has presented research at national and international conferences. He is also a Founder Member of the Lex Nova Centre of IPR and the Lex Amicitia Centre of ADR.

About the Course

This course offers a practical introduction to Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and the legal protection available for creativity, innovation, brands and designs. Participants will explore the fundamentals of Copyright, Trademarks, Patents and Industrial Designs, understand what each category protects and learn the key differences between them.

Through practical examples from everyday products, businesses and creative works, the course will simplify the basic process of obtaining protection under each IPR category. It will also address common misconceptions and help participants understand how different forms of intellectual property apply in real-world situations.
