Know Your Speaker

Heena Khan is an In-House Counsel based in Mumbai, with a strong academic and professional foundation in International Law and Intellectual Property Rights. She has been selected as a Research Assistant at the Directorate General of Shipping, Government of India, Mumbai, and is UGC-NET qualified.

She holds an LL.M. in International Law from IIT Kharagpur and an LL.B. from the Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. She has also completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Rights as a Gold Medallist from the Indian Society of International Law, along with the International Trade & Business Law (ITBL) programme. Her diverse academic journey and professional experience make her well placed to offer students a practical perspective on specialisation, higher legal education and building a focused legal career.
